Mega rally against RSS, BJP in city on Mar. 12

Mysore/Mysuru: Condemning the stand of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and BJP to topple the foundation of Constitution of India and democracy through their misrule, the leaders of Dalits, Backward Classes, Minorities and Progressive thinkers have decided to organise a mammoth convention in the city on Mar. 12.

Participating in a meeting organised at Jaladarshini Guest House in the city recently, the leaders of Dalit Sangharsha Samiti (DSS), Kumbarara Sangha, farmer organisations and Karnataka Rajya Hindulida Vargagala Jagrutha Vedike, progressive thinkers and heads of various other organisations, alleged that RSS and BJP have been fomenting anti-Constitution attitude and weakening the democracy, thus disturbing peace of common man in the society by creating unrest, inequality and enmity among castes and religions.

By providing 10 percent reservation even for economically forward classes, the Governments have been deceiving the weaker classes who are restricted to three percent reservation. By creating hatred and confusion in the name of religion, BJP and RSS leaders have been cashing in on the situation, alleged President of Karnataka Rajya Hindulida Vargagala Jagrutha Vedike K. S. Shivaram.

DSS leader Guruprasad Keragodu and former Mayor R. Purushottam too accused BJP Governments in the State and Centre.
